Sizes, options, delivery, warranty and care for your Meeplewood table.

  • This is our favourite part of what we do, making unique tables to exactly what you can imagine!

    We love talking tables so please feel free to contact us and let’s start imagining what your dream table can look like. Whilst there is a place for CAD models and factory design we like to work with you in the design and build phase when we start to make the magic happen.

    We prefer to collaborate with you and share regular updates as the build progresses. We like for you to be part of the build process and make decisions with us to ensure you are happy with how your table turns out.

    Our primary driver is to delight you with your amazing dream table, so that the only excitement on delivery day is anticipation.

  • Our standard board game tables are available in three sizes:

    • 150 cm x 110 cm - from £2,600

    • 180 cm x 110 cm - from £3,200

    • 200 cm x 110 cm - from £3,600

    Starting prices include VAT. Delivery is extra. Final specifications, accessories, delivery costs and timing are confirmed with your quotation.

    We also offer a transformer coffee table and bespoke builds. Ask us about pedestal upgrades, leaf storage, holders, trays, side desks, 360 neon-effect LED lighting, playmats and custom colours with samples.

  • Delivery is charged separately from the table starting price. Give us your postcode so we can confirm the delivery cost and available installation arrangements in your quotation.

    We aim to deliver and install personally where practical. Where this is not possible, we will discuss suitable courier arrangements and any assembly requirements with you before the order is agreed.

    Build and delivery timing are confirmed with each quote. Let us know if you have a preferred date so we can discuss what is possible.

  • Construction defects

    Within 12 months, defects resulting from construction will be repaired or replaced at our discretion at no cost. Our craftsman pledge also means we will work with you to repair construction defects without charging labour.

    Natural timber movement and table leaves

    Solid timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Our tables are made in workshop conditions of 50-60% relative humidity. Keep your table in stable indoor conditions and aim for this range.

    Movement may affect the fit of the leaves, increase gaps or make leaves harder to remove. Issues associated with humidity outside 50-60% are assessed case by case. They are not automatically classified as construction defects or automatically excluded.

    If you notice a problem

    Contact us with your order details, photos and a description of the issue. If possible, include humidity readings. Do not force tight leaves; ask us for advice. We will review the cause and discuss the appropriate next steps.

    Accidental damage and misuse are assessed separately. We can also advise on repair options outside the standard warranty.

    Care and delivery

    Avoid harsh cleaners and use care products suitable for your table finish. Ask us if you are unsure. Delivery and installation arrangements, costs and timing are confirmed with your quotation.

  • One of the best reasons for us to deliver and commission your new table is the level of care and love we put into every step!

    Should the need arise to use a 3rd party courier we will do our best to select someone that we would trust with our tables and furniture.

    In the unlikely event that your table or furniture arrives damaged please refuse the delivery and allow us to take receipt of the table to effect as speedy as possible repair or replacement.

    We know this is not great so will do our best to get you back united with your dream table as soon as possible. Just as in the build process, we will keep you up to date and informed of the estimated delivery date.

  • We all know that from time to time accidents do happen. If something happens to your table, please do get in touch and we will work with you, where possible, to bring your table back to its former glory.

    This work will be costed on a case by case basis…leave no table behind!

  • Solid timber naturally expands and contracts as indoor conditions change. This can affect the fit of table leaves, increase gaps or make leaves harder to remove.

    Our workshop is maintained at 50-60% relative humidity. Aim to keep your table in stable conditions within this range. A hygrometer can help you monitor the room; a humidifier or dehumidifier may be useful if readings are consistently outside it.

    If leaves become difficult to remove, do not force them. Contact us with photographs and humidity readings so we can advise. Humidity-related movement is assessed case by case, as explained in our warranty answer.
